Grigsby is a professional accounting firm. When you become a client, we also handle your information under professional confidentiality duties and engagement terms described in our service agreements. This policy focuses on website and platform processing. It does not replace those professional obligations.

2. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly, information generated when you use the site, and limited technical data needed to operate the website securely.
2.1 Contact Form and Quote Requests
When you submit a general inquiry or service quote request, we may collect:

- Phone number (required for quote requests)
- Inquiry type (personal or business)
- Business or entity name (optional)
- Service of interest or selected services from our catalog
- Your message
- Source page or form identifier (for internal routing)
Quote requests may also include a structured list of catalog services you selected (service name, category, and price type).
We use a hidden honeypot field to help block automated spam. Legitimate users never need to complete that field.
2.2 Service and Webinar Checkout
When you purchase services or a webinar, checkout is processed by Stripe. We receive information needed to fulfill your order, such as:
- Name and billing contact details you enter at checkout
- Email address and phone number (when requested)
- Business or entity name (when applicable)
- Typed full legal name used for electronic agreement acceptance
- Cart contents, amounts, and payment status
- Stripe customer and session identifiers needed for receipts, scheduling, and support
Grigsby does not store full payment card numbers on our own systems under normal configuration. Card data is handled by Stripe under Stripe’s terms and privacy practices.
After payment, we may receive additional information through our automation workflows (for example, scheduling tokens, agreement archive references, or intake status).
2.3 Intro Call Booking
When you schedule an introductory call, we may collect:
- Name, email, and phone number
- Preferred date and time
- Service or quote context linked to your request
- Notes you provide in the scheduling flow
Availability and booking may be supported by GoHighLevel and calendar tools connected to our Google workspace.
2.4 Client Forms and Intake (Google Forms)
We provide Google Forms for certain client questionnaires, engagement steps, and document intake. Those forms may collect detailed personal or business information needed for the specific form you are completing (for example, entity details, trust information, or signature acknowledgments).
Each form describes what it collects. Do not submit information a form does not request.
2.5 Technical and Log Data
Our hosting provider (Vercel) and serverless functions may process technical data when you use the site, such as:

- Request timestamps and pages accessed
- Error and security logs
We use this data to deliver the site, troubleshoot issues, and protect against abuse.
2.6 Cookies and Analytics
We do not currently use third-party advertising cookies or analytics trackers on the main marketing site. Essential technical cookies or local storage may be used by payment, scheduling, or form providers when you interact with those features. Stripe and other embedded flows may set cookies required for checkout or fraud prevention under their own policies.
If we add analytics or marketing tools in the future, we will update this policy.

When you use these services, you may also be subject to their terms. We choose providers that support secure handling of business and client data, but we do not control their independent compliance programs.
6. Data Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law or professional recordkeeping rules.
Typical retention patterns include:
- Contact and quote inquiries: retained long enough to respond and follow up on potential engagements, then archived or deleted according to firm practice
- Purchase and agreement records: retained for accounting, tax, and professional documentation requirements
- Client workpapers and intake submissions: retained under firm policy and applicable professional and legal record retention rules, which may extend several years
- Server and security logs: retained for a limited operational period unless needed for an investigation
If you ask us to delete information, we will honor the request where we are not required or permitted to retain the data for legal, tax, or professional reasons.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect personal information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access limits for staff systems, and reputable payment and email providers.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Please use strong passwords for any accounts you maintain with third-party providers and notify us promptly if you believe your interaction with us was compromised.

We serve clients primarily in Louisiana and neighboring states. Some state privacy laws grant additional rights to residents of certain states (including California, Colorado, Virginia, and others).
Categories collected (last 12 months, website and checkout): identifiers (name, email, phone), commercial information (purchase history), and internet or device information (logs).
Business purposes: providing services, communications, security, and compliance as described above.
No sale of personal information: We do not sell personal information as defined by applicable state privacy laws.
Sensitive information: We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes requiring a “limit” opt-out under California law beyond what is necessary to provide requested professional services.
