Webinar Purchase Agreement
This Agreement sets the commercial terms for your webinar purchase. Checking the acceptance box on the webinar landing page, typing your full legal name as your electronic signature, and completing payment together constitute your electronic acceptance of these terms.
1. What You Are Purchasing
1.1. When payment succeeds for the price shown on the webinar landing page and at Stripe Checkout, you receive:
- Access to the live webinar session identified on that landing page (title, date, and time as displayed, or as confirmed or rescheduled in your confirmation email)
- Delivery of a Google Meet join link after payment (success page and/or confirmation email)
- One seat for you personally (see Section 2)
1.2. You are purchasing educational content and live access, not a tax engagement, bookkeeping engagement, or personalized professional advice for your specific situation. Purchasing a webinar does not create a client engagement under Grigsby’s General Tax and Accounting Engagement Letter unless you separately engage the firm in writing.
1.3. Not included unless Grigsby expressly states otherwise in writing for that session: in-person attendance, a downloadable recording, transferable seats, cash back (except eligible refunds under Section 4), or any ongoing tax, bookkeeping, or advisory services.
1.4. Webinar date, time, topic, and Meet details are as stated on the landing page and confirmation communications. Grigsby may reschedule for technical, host, or force majeure reasons and will notify you at the email used at checkout.
2. One Seat; Personal Non-Transferable Access
2.1. Your payment covers one natural person: the purchaser identified at checkout.
2.2. The Google Meet join link and any related access credentials are personal and non-transferable. You may not:
- Share, forward, or post your Meet link with any other person
- Allow others to attend under your purchase
- Resell, assign, gift, or transfer this purchase to another person (unless Grigsby agrees in writing)
- Record the session for redistribution, or upload webinar content to any public or private platform
2.3. Link sharing or other material breach may result in revocation of access without refund, except where mandatory law requires otherwise.
3. Checkout; Information; Acceptance
3.1. Checkout is processed by Stripe. Before you continue to Sign up / payment, you must (a) check the required acceptance checkbox on the webinar landing page, and (b) type your full legal name as your electronic signature. Checking the box, typing your legal name, and completing payment together constitute your electronic acceptance of this Agreement.
3.2. Provide accurate, current information at checkout (name, email, phone, and billing address as requested), including the typed legal name used for electronic acceptance. Your email is used for confirmation, Meet link delivery, and support.
3.3. Grigsby does not store full card numbers on its own systems under normal configuration. Card data is handled by Stripe under Stripe’s terms and privacy practices.
3.4. A purchase is complete only when payment is successfully authorized or captured. Declined or failed payments do not create webinar access or a Meet link.
4. Refund and Cancellation
4.1. Full refund if you request a refund at least twenty-four (24) hours before the scheduled webinar start time. Default time zone for determining start time is the timezone shown on the webinar landing page (typically America/Chicago for Shreveport sessions), unless confirmation materials state otherwise.
4.2. No refunds if the request is made less than twenty-four (24) hours before start, or after the webinar has started or concluded, including for non-attendance, change of mind, device or network issues on your side, or dissatisfaction with educational content, except where mandatory consumer law requires otherwise.
4.3. How to request. Email contact@grigsbyaccountinggroup.com with your order email, full name, and webinar title or date. Processing typically occurs through Stripe; card posting times often take several business days depending on your institution.
4.4. If a refund is issued, Meet access for that webinar may be cancelled or revoked.
4.5. Before initiating a chargeback, please contact us at the email above so we can help resolve the issue.
5. Delivery (Google Meet)
5.1. After successful payment, Grigsby provides your Meet join link on the success page and/or by email to the address used at checkout.
5.2. You are responsible for:
- Using a working device, browser, and internet connection that meet Google Meet’s requirements
- Joining with enough time before start
- Keeping your Meet link confidential (see Section 2)
- Checking spam or junk folders if you do not see confirmation email promptly
5.3. Google Meet is a third-party platform. Outages, local network issues, or failure to join with a working link may prevent access. If the webinar cannot be delivered because of a material failure on Grigsby’s side (not purchaser-side issues), Grigsby’s remedy is limited to a reschedule, substitute access, or refund at Grigsby’s election.
6. Educational Nature; No Tax Outcome Guarantees
6.1. Webinar content is for educational and informational purposes only. It is not personalized tax, legal, investment, or accounting advice for your facts.
6.2. Grigsby makes no guarantee of any specific tax outcome, refund amount, savings, filing result, audit result, or other financial result from attending or applying general concepts discussed in the webinar.
6.3. Your situation is unique. Before acting on educational topics, consult a qualified professional as appropriate, or engage Grigsby separately under a written engagement letter if you want firm services.
7. Intellectual Property
Webinar content, slides, and materials remain owned by Grigsby or its licensors. Your license is limited to attending the live session you purchased, for your own educational use, as described in this Agreement.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Grigsby’s aggregate liability arising out of or relating to your webinar purchase shall not exceed the amount you paid for that webinar. This limitation does not apply to liability arising from Grigsby’s gross negligence, willful misconduct, or fraud.
9. Governing Law; Disputes
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to this Agreement shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered in Shreveport, Louisiana, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
10. Changes
For a completed checkout, the version of this Agreement presented or linked at the time of purchase controls that purchase, unless mandatory law provides otherwise. Grigsby may update this Agreement for future webinars; updates do not retroactively change completed purchases except as required by law.
